I am running the Virgin London Marathon in memory of a great friend of mine Sgt Simon Valentine who lost his life on operations in Afghanistan in 2009.

Simon or Val as i know him by left behind a wife and 2 daughters.

The charity in which i am running for is the Forces Childrens Trust which helps support children who's mum or dad as been killed on operations or seriously injured.
