I'm taking part in the Great London Swim 2012 to raise money for a great charity. This is my 3rd year taking part in this great event, and each year I manage to encourage more people to take part. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; margin-bottom: 15.0pt;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial;">I will be taking part in the swim twice over the course of the day. The 1st 1 mile swim I will do, will be to push myself to achieve the best possible time. Then a few hours later at 12.30pm I will be doing the 1 mile course for the second time. This will be with my group of novice open water swimmers. We will swim as a group with each person swimming to their personal best, with the encouragement of the group and security of knowing your not alone in the open water. Feel free to come down and cheer, as it is a great family and friends days out, or feeling more adventurous get in touch to join the group in the water!! </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; margin-bottom: 15.0pt;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial;">This is why I have chosen to support and raise money for the British Olympic Foundation as they are all about encouraging and developing self confidence through sport.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial;">I will be an Olympic torch bearer on the 23rd July 2012 on the torches journey to the Olympics so make sure to come out and give the torch a cheer when I comes through your area.</span></p>
