Hi everybody!

      I'm running the Virgin London Marathon 2010 for Tenovus, a Cardiff-based cancer charity, in memory of my aunt who died in May 2009, and in support of 2 friends and fundraising colleagues who are both battling cancer. As a Londoner living in North Wales, I'll be running in my home town. The atmosphere is always brilliant - I'm really looking forward to April 25th!! The only problem is, there's six months of training ahead of me in order to try and finish in a respectable time!

           Tenovus have been around for over 60 years. They provide advice, support, counselling and many other services. Their scientists were instrumental in the creation of leading treatments for both breast cancer and prostate cancer. Recently they launched the world's first mobile cancer treatment unit - "the bus" -  which is what I'm running to help fund.

Update Thursday 1st April 2010 :-    Just had a stinker of a cold, and a stomach upset - played havoc with my "training"!!! We will be on Llandudno Promenade on Saturday 3rd April, together with the Easter bunny! If you see us, come and say hello and give us your cash!!!
