Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Ok.. so the real challenge is getting to find a challenge .. I had originally been going to do a Cycle Challange which was cancelled due to low numbers.. then it was Peru, injury stopped that.. so third time lucky!!! Am off to the Himalayas on Saturday 28th September.. will keep you posted.
I have worked in the ICT industry for more years than I care to remember and have witnessed at first hand the evolution towards the information revolution. I strongly believe that everyone needs knowledge of, and access to computers to participate in this. The work Computer Aid does in bringing technology to poor areas of the world is vital to allow these areas to help themselves out of poverty. From bringing basic education facilities through to accessing information to enable e-medicine and e-agriculture, allows people and communities to move forward and participate in the wider world.
