It's with great sadness that I create this fundraising page as I do so in loving memory of a dear friend Sue Barter.
The loss of Sue came as a great shock and was so unexpected. There are days where I still can't believe that it is real and I expect to see her and hear her infectious laugh.
Her husband Stu speaks highly of the support Sue and her family received from Velindre in the lead up to Sue's passing and Stu has pledged to raise money for the hospice so they can continue their excellent work.
Sue was an inspirational person and devoted so much of her time to challenging herself physically and mentally by entering a number of organised events such as the Cardiff Half Marathon.
I have pledged to join Stu in raising money for Velindre. I plan to raise funds and awareness for this great charity over the next 6 months by entering many events and challenges ending with joining Stu on a gruelling 7 day trek through the mountains of Nepal, an event organised by the wonderful charity Velindre itself.
