Welcome to your new improved fundraising page. Find out what's changed and why.

What's new?

  1. The new header makes it much easier to see all the fundraising info at a glance. Plus, the page can now be shared to more social networks to encourage more people to give.
  2. The charity information is much more prominent, highlighting the cause you’re supporting.
  3. The new gallery makes it easier to see the images and video.
  4. Dedicated sections show the teams and companies you’re part of, emphasising the fundraising community you belong to.

What's coming?

The new design will also allow us to introduce some great features very soon to help you tell your fundraising story, like page updates, themes and a new page summary. Read all about these and other upcoming changes on our blog.

Love it, hate it or just not sure?

My story

Thanks for visiting - especially if you are going to donate because you will thereby help to fight Cancer and to alleviate the suffering of those who have Cancer. I'm going to cycle the Danube from its source in the Black Forest to Budapest (going via Germany, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary) in Sept/Oct 2009. I'm doing this journey of about 1400km on a track bike (ie a bike without changeable gears) and I anticipate the journey will take between 2 and 3 weeks. Many thanks to Edinburgh Bicycle Co-op for the cool bike.

I chose to support two Cancer charities because my beloved Uncle Murdo 'Murdie' MacLean passed away in December 2008 due to this illness. I also think it will do me good to get out into the real world and do something for other people instead of living inside my own head all the time! Writers should get out more!

Please give as generously as you can. Tapadh leibhse/Thank you :-)
