Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 12th February 2010 I will be embarking on a challenge that a couple of years ago I would never have believed I would have attempted. I have been enjoying cycling for a few years now and during a conversation with a friend I discovered that an old school friend was the CEO of DebRA Spirit a charity I had raised some money for in the past.

Greg Sim will be joining Lawrence Dallaglio and others to cycle from Rome at the start of the Six Nations rugby to Edinburgh taking in all the grounds. This will be around 2800 km and to add support I volunteered to ride a leg of the ride. So here I am I will be riding from Rome to San Remo a total of 671 km.

It is very difficult to summarise the effects of EB but it is a painful genetic disorder which causes the skin to blister and peel at the slightest touch. Anything we can do to stop the suffering will be worth the pain we will have to go through in February.
