We are saving and transforming children's lives through the simple loan of 6 goats and a donkey to each family, installing handpumps and providing clean water, training midwives and first aid workers, teaching farming techniques and providing essentials such as blankets, mosquito nets and solar lanterns. Our tree seedlings are already giving fruit to children and holding back desertification. By teaching villagers to run the projects themselves, everything we do is sustainable. Each donation is a lasting gift of life to a child. Kids for Kids is continueing to provide help in supporting not only our existing villages but in identifying and helping new communities.  Our decision to set up our own office could not have been at a better time.  I am delighted to tell you that we are in a position of strength as we enter our 10th year.  We are confident that with your help we are going to be able to do very much more, and enable even more people to return to their normal way of life from the disaster of having to flee for refuge in the camps.  We are particularly proud that families are settling in our villages from the camps.   You will perhaps have seen that we are asking for help to provide each one with the basic essentials, as these are families who lost everything when they fled their homes, leaving everything behind?   To celebrate our 10th birthday this year we are challenging everyone to have a party to celebrate our unique achievements!  Please can you join us and have a party, however small (or large!)?  We would like you to help us say that children in Darfur are not forgotten.  Drawn...to Darfur, our project to invite celebrities to draw for us, continues to grow, and you might like to know that the Pope himself has joined in!  Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
