Story
Kiera-Jayne along with my friends & family surprised me by taking part in the Race For Life last year to show their support during my treatment for Breast Cancer. On that day, I made a promise to Kiera & the girls that next year I would be doing it with them! So next year has arrived, I'm still here so there's no backing out! Kiera and I will also taking Mason along for the ride in his push chair (because real men wear pink)!
Unfortunately Cancer touches so many lives and in 2016 this shouldn't be still happening. As well as unfortunately having had cancer myself both my parents did too. My Dad is a cancer survivor of 36 years now (Go Dad) but unfortunately we lost my Mum to Brain Cancer 22 years ago. I also met many lovely people along the way during treatment who unfortunately are still fighting and sadly some that didn't win the fight. Everyday I am totally aware how lucky I am.
