Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have never done any runs or marathons for charity in the past but I was challenged to do Tough Mudder by my brother in law, after giving it some thought over a sleepless night I decided to go for it! Straight away I knew that I wanted to do it on behalf of an endometriosis charity as this disease is so cruel and debilitating. I know this as my wife is a severe sufferer & has been since she was a teenager. I've had to stand by & watch her go through hell. Now I can help to raise awareness and funds for research into treatment, and hopefully into trying to find a cure for this hellish disease as it can also be hereditary, having a little girl makes it even more relevant to us. I'll be focusing all my thoughts on this whilst training which is my driving goal to get me through a 12 mile obstacle course of mud, fire, icy water & 10,000 volts of electricity!!
