April is Bowel Cancer awareness month. Bowel cancer is England's third most common cancer, and when it comes to death, it's the second biggest killer. But it really needn't be that way!
Over 90% of those diagnosed with early stage bowel cancer are treated successfully. The big problem is that too many of us are embarrassed to go and see the doctor with any bowel related issues. If you've got blood in your poo, or your poo is looser than normal then go and see your doctor.
