I'm Kieran James, aged 17. I'm going to do a Tandem skydive in honor of Emily Rose Mayo. Aged 19, After suffering with Lymphoedema from the age of 12, Emily passed away.

I want to raise awareness of Lymphoedema. Lymphoedema is a long-term illness that causes swelling in the body’s tissues, usually affecting the arms and legs it’s painful and in some cases, causes loss of mobility.

After a long battle with lymphoedema we recently lost someone very close to our hearts. Emily Mayo was someone who never let her illness get her down, she never complained, just got on with her life. Someone so full of life and laughter, She took each day on with an infectious smile.

Emily lived life to the full, the only way I could match this energy would be to do a skydive to raise awareness of this illness, but also celebrate Emily Rose Mayo’s life.

However big or small the donation may be, every little can help towards The National Lymphoedema Support Network. The charity takes pride in educating and supporting patients that suffer with this illness.
