Quick update for all you kind sponsors,

Went out on a group bike ride on Sunday just for 35 miles so that we can get used to riding with others rather than being loners out on the roads with just our ipods!!

All went well except for the fact there was the small event of the works Christmas party the night before that meant the eyes were a little blurry trying to get up and cycling so early!

So now the aim is just building up the stamina towards the 60 mile mark and making a note not go out the night before.

Also, the date for the inaugural leg shaving has been set for the 15th February and I've been told its going to be lovely pink wax just to make my day!

Hi Guys,

The event I'm undertaking is a part of the Dallaglio Cycle Slam and involves cycling from Paris to Twickenham in 4 days covering 440km (about 275 miles).

The cycle ride will aim to raise £1 million for Sport Relief and the Dallaglio Foundation, which in turn will support Cancer Research UK, DebRA, the Help for Heroes campaign, the RPA Benevolent Fund and the Leukaemia Research.

There will be photos up here soon so that you can see how demoralising training is when battling against the elements, so to help keep my spirits high how about donating some of your hard earned money to these good causes?

A couple of events that I'm already in the throws of organising is a works 5 a-side football tournament and my kind work colleagues have also caoxed me into getting my legs waxed so please be generous as I don't want then at least the pain will be worthwhile!
