<p class="MsoNormal">Thankyou for visiting our JustGiving page</p> <p class="MsoNormal">On the 3 November Stuart &amp; Marie Curran, Kim &amp; Vincent Maher will be embarking on a 6 day trek to reach the Uhuru Peak of Kilimanjaro reaching an altitude of 5,896 metres on behalf of The Good Life Orphanage.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">Day 1 &ndash; The group will hike for 5 hours to reach 2,700 metres.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">Day 2 &ndash; The group will make a steep ascent for 6 hours, through a forest to reach 3,720 metres.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">Day 3 &ndash; A day will be spent to acclimatise in order to avoid altitude sickness.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">Day 4 &ndash; The group will climb towards the Lunar Desert where the terrain becomes high altitude<span> </span>wilderness to reach 4,700 metres.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">Day 5 &ndash; The group will start the ascent at 1.00am to reach 5,685 metres at sunrise, those willing can reach Uhuru Peak at 5,896 metres.
