<p><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">As some of you know as I turned 50 and in a moment of madness I decided to apply to run the London Marathon ! So getting a ballot place on my first application - it was meant to be !! </span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">I have decided to raise funds for the Cuthbury ward at Wimborne (Victoria) Hospital.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">They did a fantastic job of looking after my mum several times when she was very poorly, and for some respite on a couple of occasions which she was cared for brilliantly. Also having one of my best friends (Bridget) working there as well - who I know works tirelessly adds to the reasons for my choice.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">They need some fall prevention monitor/alarms to alert them and so prevent falls from the elderly in the ward both during the day and night.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">It will also be a way of me being able to give "something back" and say thank you for all their kindness and caring that they give every day to patients like my mum who needed that extra bit of care</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">Sainsburys have pledged they will double anything I raise so will be looking to raise as much as I can !! </span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">Thank you in advance for any donation that you give Kim x</span></strong></p> <p>So please dig deep and donate now.</p>
