Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 11th Debember 2010 my cousin, Lee had had a good day. He had attended a very positive interview to follow his dreams and coach football in  the USA, Leeds United  had won and he had a fun evening out with his friends. He went to bed a happy lad. Lee suffered from Epilepsy - something only his family and close friends were aware of - he had a seizure in his sleep. He never woke up the next morning. He was 24.

Neither Lee nor any of our family were aware that a seizure could kill, but we now know differently.

This tradgedy will affect the family for all our lives. More research needs to be performed to try to determine what causes the seizures and how they can be controlled - or stopped.

I am running the Manchester 10k  with the aim of raising as much money as possible for Epilepsy Research   - http://www.epilepsyresearch.org.uk/  - please give generously.

One further comment - Lee received an email 4 days after he died offering him the coaching job in the America - something he had always dreamed of but will never be abe to fulfill.
