My beautiful neighbour Francesca has faced huge challenges fighting cancer  and the Beatson has been a great support to her and her family   The day after the walk I have a big birthday 50!  Francesca is only 20 and showed such courage and positivity that I  want to do something for her.

This fundraising walk has been a focus for Francesca and her family - I know the benefits of channeling emotions into doing something to help others. It made a big difference in our lives when we faced our greatest life challenge  and now I want to help Francesca . 

If my friends could donate £1 each to wish me a happy birthday then that good wish will be paid forward to help so many others .
