Myself and my daughter Rachel are running the Baker Hughes 10K on Sunday 20th May for Friends of Anchor who have not only made my mum's time in the hospital much better but many other suffering from cancer as well. They are a local charity so you know the money is staying here to help those closest to you. We all know someone who has been affected by this awful disease and this is your chance to make the time they have to spend in hospital away from their families that bit better.

Now I'm not saying we are aiming to finish the run in the fastest time as that won’t happen, at the moment I am just aiming to finish the race before the sweeper van comes past :)
