Well - I did it ! It was a completely exhilarating experience. Loved the guy who gave us the motivational training - so positive (and very amusing !). The weather was really cold and wet that it was actually a relief to walk over the coals which were warm and soothing. I finished off the evening with my husband, kids and ...................a very hot curry ! (I thought it was an appropriate end to a great night) . I would definitely do it again and recommend it to everyone. Thank you to everybody who sponsored me on and off-line. Rest assured - your money is going to a great cause.
The Peace Hospice is based in Watford and cares for people living with life-limiting or terminal illness and supports their families living from across South West Hertfordshire. It provides in-patient care, out patient service as well as bereavement support and they do a wonderful job. They rely on charitable income to run and develop their services. All the care that the hospice provides to its patients and their families is free.
