While laying in bed, recovering from my latest operation (I have one every 5 years to try and minimise the pain from my endometriosis), I thought I'd do something positive - and raise money for Endometriosis UK by taking part in a TANDEM PARACHUTE JUMP (maybe the anaesthetic hadn't worn off!)
I'll be freefalling from a height of 10,000ft at about 120mph, so I'm hoping to raise over £500.
It's taking place in Cambridge on 18th October 2009, which just so happens to be my Birthday too.
There is no cure
for Endometriosis, so I am raising money for Endometriosis UK, who aim to improve the lives of people affected by endometriosis and work towards a future where it has the least possible impact on those living with the condition.
They are also campaigning to get more funds into endometriosis research.
