Story

Centre Educatif Isis aims at empowering young people and adults, particularly women, through education so as to bring about changes in their lives and in the D.R. Congo. The Centre endeavours:

- to teach literacy and numeracy to women in order to enable them to break up the barriers of ignorance;

- to introduce young people to Information Technology, particularly to Internet, to help them break off their isolation;

- to promote and advocate those freedoms and rights contained in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the African Charter on Human and People's Rights;

- to teach martial arts, especially Karate, to young people so that they cultivate the spirit of effort, discipline, self-control, self-confidence, and courtesy.
