Giving up for Lent!!! · 5 March 2014

Myeloma UK is the only organisation in the UK dealing exclusively with myeloma. We provide information and support to patients and their families and help myeloma patients live longer, with a better quality of life by accelerating the discovery, development of and access to new treatments.

Story

To those of you that know me well, you will know that I don't usually ask for sponsorship for anything, so I know that you'll appreciate that I must be doing this for a great cause.

My friend Deb Gascoyne is working really hard to complete 40 challenges before she turns 40 next year to raise funds and awareness for Myeloma UK.

This is challenge 8 'Get 40 friends to give up something for the 40 days of Lent' For my part I have decided to give up chocolate and all bread products from 5th March until Easter Sunday, which is 46 days in total.

I have set a target of £40.00, and would be really grateful for any donations I receive - if I get 40 people to sponsor me £1.00 each I will reach my target. If all 40 of us raise £40.00 we will raise an amazing £1600 for Myeloma UK!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. If you'd like any more information on Deb's Challanges and her story so far please follow the link below:
