Kirsten's Walk to Work 2012

Walk to Work for Futures for Kids · 18 May 2012
Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.
As some of you know: I don’t walk much! Just a short walk to the shops or to the train station and I’m done for the day. On May 18 I shall be dusting off my trainers, putting on my sweat bands and walking 23 miles from Sevenoaks to P&L Towers in the city. To some this may seem like a surmountable task, but if you check out my photos taken after my 10 mile endeavour last year you will see I spilt blood (quite literally) on the journey.
I will be joining a group of colleagues and friends from the foreign exchange and futures and options communities in the Walk to Work in aid of Futures for Kids (www.futuresforkids.org.uk), a fantastic organisation that raises money for charities that help to improve the lives of children in the UK and overseas. So far, it has helped Demelza House, Everychild, HopeHIV, Fairbridge, WhizzKids and Living and Loving.
As well as raising money for charity, the competitive streak in me needs to show the super-fit futures and options mob what the foreign exchange industry is made of! ;-)
Any contribution you make will be very gratefully received. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to Futures for Kids and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
Thank you very much for supporting Futures for Kids.
