Flora London Marathon 2003 · 13 April 2003 ·

Sense is here to support disabled people from the first weeks of life through all the major milestones of adulthood. Over 70 years, we’ve built extensive knowledge and expertise in supporting disabled people with complex needs, including deafblind people.

Story

Hi!
Running has never, ever been something that I've enjoyed. Years ago I'd occasionally plod around Point Lonsdale (back in Australia) overtaking the odd dog walker if I was lucky and probably doing nothing for my fitness except allow myself to become slightly puffed.

BUT that's all changed !

I still plod, i just do it a lot more reguarly now so I've decided to take on the London Marathon. Not only that but I plan to complete it in under 4 hours.....or at least I hope.

I have become a strong advocate of the charity SENSE supporting Deaf and Blind people so I have decided to raise money for them again in my quest to complete this mad race.

Any amount will make a difference. Even the smallest donation of $1AUD , $1USD or 1GBP will help.......hopefully you can dig deep for a bit more though !

Please try to give generously! Everything you donate goes straight to SENSE.

Many thanks.
