This June I will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro with a group of students from the University of Leeds RAG society (Rasie and Give) to raise money for the charity Moving Mountains. I will be spending just over 3 weeks in Africa, the first 2 weeks will be spent in Kenya working on a community project to support local families and help them to become independent. Here, I will be helping with the building of a secondary school and teaching English to children. The third week will be the big climb in Tanzania (5 days up, 2 days down) and I hope to get to the top!

However, in order to do this I need to raise £2,300 for Moving Mountains. (£1025 will be used for Kilimanjaro park fees and the rest will go directly to the charity.) All personal expenses such as flights and accommodation will be covered by me.

Moving Mountains is an international charity that operates worldwide but we will be fundraising specifically for the Kenya Project. Between the whole team, we hope to raise over £30,000 which will make a huge impact on people's lives and hopefully encourage sustainability for the future so this can continue.

I am planning lots of fundraising events between now and then to reach my target and any help will be much appreciated!
