On Friday 29th March 2019 myself and other members of the Urban Saints team will be walking from Elthorne Park, in North London, to our offices at Kestin House in Luton (around 28 miles!).  I'm excited to be part of this adventure and my aim is to walk the whole route.

My training so far has been climbing hills and mountains since being a wee lass and being fit in my younger years.  More recently I've been trying to keep pace with my ever growing and energetic 8yr old son and having a great desk job.  Frequent treks to the kitchen for more tea and coffee certainly keep my daily steps up!  My 5K to couch is also going really well.

Elthorne Park, where we start our long walk in the same direction, is where the story of Urban Saints / Crusaders began.  Back in 1900 Albert Kestin met a group of boys who weren't in Sunday school and on 29th March 1906 The Crusaders Union was officially formed.  For over 100 years the movement has been committed to supporting volunteer Leaders to run weekly youth and children's groups and an exciting programme of annual Camps and Overseas Adventures.   

I've been working for Urban Saints since November 2017.  It's a privilege being amongst such a dedicated team of staff and volunteer leaders working to serve and welcome young people to God great adventure for their life.
