Brighton Marathon 2012 · 15 April 2012 ·

Nephrotic Syndrome (NS) affects approx 10,000 people in the UK, majority are children, with no known cause or cure. The current treatment is non-specific and highly toxic, with many potentially life-threatening complications. NeST funds Bristol Children's Hospital in researching NS to find a cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As you know, Kirstin, Suzy and Mark are running the Brighton Marathon in April (Sunday 15th). They've decided to run in aid of Nephrotic Syndrome Trust as Kirstin's niece (Jasmine) was born with this condition. Nephrotic Syndrome is caused by different disorders that damage the kidneys. Jasmine has been in and out of hospital since she was born and is still receiving treatment as there is no known cure. As this syndrome can affect any person at any age Kirstin, Suzy and Mark want to raise awareness and funding for future research.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
