I wanted to raise money for a charity that would inspire and motivate me to run 26.2 miles! Which is why I have chosen The Liam Fairhurst Foundation

I never met Liam, but would often read about him in the paper or hear him on the local radio station, he was so inspiring! Liam grew up in Soham in Cambridgeshire, but sadly he was only 14 when he lost his battle to soft tissue cancer.

Despite everything Liam faced, he set out to help other children like him by raising money for charity and his family have set up the Liam Fairhurst Foundation in his memory.

Liam lived by the quote “Life is measured in achievements, not in years alone”
