<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>This summer i'll be running the British 10K for the Fairtrade Foundation who make sure farmers and workers across the developing world get a fair price for the items they produce.</p> <p>More than one-third of the world's population lives on less than $2 a day, many of them farmers who are unable to make a decent livling because of unfair global trade rules and a consumer culture which demands lower and lower prices for our goods.</p> <p>Fairtrade aims to redress that imbalance by giving farmers the chance to sell their crop at a sustainable price, and receive a little bit extra to invest in their community through better education, health care or other facilities.</p> <p>Every penny i make will go directly to the Fairtrade Foundation to support their ambition to give every farmer and worker in the developing world a fair chance at a better future</p> <p>thanks very much x</p>
