My story

I'm Running the London Marathon in memory of my Nan and support of the MARY ANN EVANS HOSPICE

Peggy Eardley was a wonderful, beautiful, inspirational woman.  She touched the hearts, minds and lives of everyone she ever met.

Sadly in June she was diagnosed with cancer and died shortly after in August.  In her last couple of months she needed constant care and my family needed help.  One charity, a tiny, local charity stepped up to help when many others didn't.

The Mary Ann Evans Hospice.

Mary Ann Evans Hospice isn't a big corporate organisation.  They don't have hundreds of marketeers and thousands of benefactors.  In fact they have a daily deficit of £1200!!!!  They need our help to keep going.  To provide support for hundreds of people and their families who are struggling with the reality of their final weeks.

Shortly before my nan died I promised her I'd run THE LONDON MARATHON, to be honest I didn't think they'd accept me.  But they did!  So now I have to run it!  Please support me and help me raise thousands for other families in their time of need.

Thanks. K x
