Hamish's One Year On - 5km Fun Run

One Year On - 5km Fun Run · 2 September 2017
Almost exactly a year ago to the day, Hamish finished treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The treatment was quite simply brutal. One of the chemotherapy drugs affected his nervous system, mobility and fine motor skills. In fact, this time last year Hamish was using a wheelchair and even today still struggles with walking sometimes.
ONE YEAR ON, Hamish is bravely talking part in the Wigtownshire 5K run to raise much needed funds and awareness for CLIC Sargent who have supported Hamish almost from the day he was diagnosed.
CLIC Sargent is the UK’s leading cancer charity for children, young people and their families.
