Hey Hey Everyone,
So guess what?...I'm doing the London to Paris bike ride!! Woooo hoooo!
On 30th september I'll be heading off on my shiny new bike with some other crazy people to cycle to Paris. This bike ride is in aid of the British Skin Foundation (BSF). The aim of the BSF is to raise funds for skin disease research. It's mission is to fund work that may lead to new treatments and cures for skin diseases.
Since I have been working for the BSF I have realised just how distressing skin disease can be. Even though many skin diseases are not life threatening they can have a huge impact on family life. In many cases the disease is a disability and stops people from doing everyday activities.
In the past 3 years the BSF has awarded over £1,842,000 into a range of studies search for cures and treatments for some of these terrible diseases.
I have about 2 months to train for this ride, it is going to be such a big challenge for me and I'm going to need to train really hard if I don't want to get rescued by the rescue van!
I would really appreciate it if you could sponsor me, even if it's just a pound or so :) Every penny raised will be put towards research into skin disease.
