I'm running the Great North Run in preparation for running the Great Ethiopia Run in November - I'm hoping that 13 miles through the freezing North East streets will be the right training for 6 miles at altitude through the sun soaked streets of Addis.

Last year the Hope UK team raised almost £30000 for Hope Ethiopia, which was used to fund spring capping water projects in remote villages, health education, microfinance, and contributed to our sister charity who works with AIDS orphans. This year each team member needs to raise £1000, so any money you give to me for the GNR goes to Ethiopia.
