Kirsty's Fife Coastal Path Walk

I am making an attempt at walking 117 miles of the Fife Coastal path from Kincardine to Newburgh on behalf of 1145 (Dunfermline) Sqn, the walk may continue longer if needed until the 117 miles are complete.
I am walking this beautiful route to raise funds for The Captain David Seath Memorial Fund (Help for Heroes). David sadly passed away last year just 3 miles before the finish line of the London Marathon. Prior to his career in the Army, David was a cadet at 1145 Sqn and during his time as a cadet he amassed a collection of awards and accolades, he was an inspiration to his peers and made a huge impact on those he met and whilst our cadets have never had the chance to meet him, his presence still remains in the squadron's history and archives.
Whilst a member of the squadron David was directly responsible for the training and oversight of many new recruits and actually trained me when I joined in 2002 as a cadet aged just 13.
Despite little training, the Fife Coastal Path is something that I have always wanted to do and I am glad I can use this opportunity to raise funds for this fantastic cause.
