Story
Ahoy Mateys!
There comes a time when we all have to grow up! Thankfully that time has not arrived for me yet.
But as a means to try and fake it, the hair is going - and I don't mean a gentle trim its going to be buzzed on stage at the Legendary Glastonburrows on:
Saturday 20/08/11 In Leyland Lancashire
For those going to the event you will have the oppurtunity to bid for the honour or sacrilege of choping off the pony tail.
I have had this hair since the tender age of 19 and many of you don't know me without it.
It is with deep regret and a heavy heart that the mop is going for the chop. I feel I am losing a friend that taught me to dance but is a pain in @$$ when its windy and doesn't taste very nice.
I have chosen Leukemia Research as my charity because as many of you know my father (Chris Burrows) has had Leukemia almost as long as I have had my hair and if cutting it off could help even a little - it's got to be woth a shot!
So come on shipmates dig deep and lets give my hair a real good send off!
N.B. Monies donated on this website go directly to Leukemia Research but monies taken on the day of the chop will be spilt between Water Aid & the Wildlife Trust. Visit the Glastonburrows Facebook pages for details.
Cheers & a currently hairy hug!
