On the afternoon of Sunday, 8 November, Kitty suffered a stroke and was admitted to Darenth Valley Hospital, Dartford where, very sadly, she passed away at 20.50 that evening surrounded by all her sons and family.

Kitty did not suffer any pain or discomfort and her passing was very peaceful.

Following the loss of her first daughter Linda to Leukaemia at the age of 3, Kitty has been a keen supporter of the Leukaemia Research Fund since it was inaugurated.
