Hello, myself (Abi) and four other sixth form students (Kitty, Constance, Maddy and Avalon) are raising money for a sponsored walk around the coastal path of the Isle of Wight, which was completed on the 23 August. We are raising money in aid of Cancer Research UK, a charity that is very close to all of our hearts. In the hope of changing people’s lives close to us, we wish to raise as much money as possible, starting off at a target of £500, ultimately hoping to raise it to £1000. 

 

The walk took us five days to complete in five long sections, stopping at well know and beautiful destinations such as Shanklin, Yarmouth and Cowes. The route followed the coastal path around the entire island and we carried all of our supplies and kit.

 

Your donation will mean that we can support friends and relatives through Cancer Research UK, providing the funds to look into new ways of treating and curing some cancers. This will improve the quality of many people’s lives that go through the everyday suffering of their disease. With your support we can help to change this.
