As some of you already know, I am travelling to Central Asia this summer as part of a group of 15 volunteering for 3 weeks on a variety of projects - including working at a Drugs and Alcohol rehabilition centre, working at a childrens camp, and some - erm - farming! I'm really excited to have this opportunity, it's something I've been thinking about doing for ages, and am pleased to be using my last summer as a PhD student prior to my return to clinical medicine to do something really worthwhile.

As part of my trip, I need to fundraise as much money as possible towards the projects with which we still be working. I would be so very grateful if you were able to make a contribution towards this.
