My challenge for 2013 has been to take part in races with a combined distance of a marathon (42.2K). I have run and swam and every race did my very best to beat my previous time.

Before this challenge I had never ever run a 10K before and didn't think that I could.....These are the events I took part:

February - 5K cross country (26m8s) / March - Garioch 10K (1:02:45) / April - Balmoral 10K (1:03:29)/May - Dunecht Dash 5K (27:31)/July - Aberdeen Beach 10K (59:48)/ August Loch Ness Monster Swim (800m) - no time and Banff Bay Swim (1500m) - about 35 mins
