My story
TARGET INCREASED... WELL DONE ALL!
Beardtober (the month formerly known as October) is a beard growing charity event held during October to support The Prostate Project.
The event is open to all at Knauf Drywall with a clear bias to those with the ability to grow facial hair.
Each grower pays a minimum of £25 for the privilege of growing a beard.
All participants “wet-shave” any existing facial hair off (eyebrows/lashes can be left) on the 30 September.
Hair is then left to grow for the month of October with minimal trimming allowed during this period.
On the 31 October, photographs are taken and submitted to the judging panel for prizes to be awarded and for communication to sponsors.

Giving men a better chance of beating Prostate Cancer. A volunteer organisation we have very low overheads . Our research team of 25 is at the Post Graduate Medical School University of Surrey . A new Urology Centre for the NHS is a target. Providing support to sufferers & also to promote awareness.
