Story

Thank you!  We've raised the £100,000 we need to buy Knettishall Heath.  You can still help, all donations made now will support the future care of Knettishall Heath.

The campaign:

Suffolk Wildlife Trust has secured an agreement to buy Knettishall Heath as a nature reserve.

Suffolk County Council has leased Knettishall Heath as a country park for many years, but this lease is now ending.  We now have to raise £100,000 by the end of January to complete the purchase – please will you help?

The new nature reserve will include adjoining areas of woodland, and so will be much bigger than the former country park. This will enable the Trust to create five miles of new nature trails for you to enjoy.

Thanks to the funding we have already secured, every £1 you give will help us to buy £10 of habitat at Knettishall Heath.

Please help if you can. Thank you.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
