Hello all!

Yes - I am actually going to do this! 13.1 miles beginning at midnight!

It feels like a family affair - Dan has been drafted to be the Official Photographer on the night, it was my Aunt Mary who pressed me to get fitter (which is how my doing the walk started) and my page is named after a jogging club at CCRI (or was it RIJC then?) that my Mom was part of.

I work in the office at St Luke's and I see every day how much everyone puts into helping the patients - it's a place I'm extremely proud to be associated with.

St Luke's Hospice cares for people with life threatening illnesses. These illnesses pay no heed to age, creed or class and we treat and support patients across a broad spectrum of experience.

It is also a place where people come to learn to live life afresh, finding new approaches to managing the situations in which they find themselves.

No charge is made for these services.

It costs £4500 pounds a day to keep St Luke's running, and a significant amount of their funding comes from wonderful people like you - people who sponsor participants in these events.
