Headcase raises funds for research to find a cure for the most common adult primary brain tumour - a Glioblastoma Multiforme or GBM. GBMs are incurable and kill 5000 adults each year in the UK . Headcase is staffed entirely by volunteers and will be funding PhD research in labs across the UK.

Story

Mission Accomplished - Thanks so much for your support!!!

Ed & Alan made up a team of nine cyclists who rode over 120 miles through Snowdonia, in a day (08/08/14) to raise money for brain tumour research.

In April 2014, Howard Kirkham, a much loved Dad, Grandpa, Husband & Son died at the age of 66 from a Grade 4 Glioblastoma Multiforme brain tumour. Ed grew up with Howard's son Stuart (one of the team of cyclists) who is also married to Delamere's marketing manager, Emma Kirkham.

Howard's family (with the help of friends) is aiming to raise £10,000 for research into brain tumours, particularly Glioblastomas, to help improve and save future lives from the devastating impact of this disease. To achieve this goal, Howard's family and friends have volunteered to complete one or more of 12 challenges in 12 months. The Knutsford to Abersoch cycle (where Howard lived & holidayed) is the first of these 12 challenges. We appreciate your support!
