Water for Africa is a charity, who specialises in providing water to African communities and supporting their water source for the long-term, with their own locally based African drilling team. None of their UK team take any salaries, so their donations are targeted directly at beneficiaries and spent on drilling boreholes, drilled by their own fully supported African team, with their own equipment.

Most of us take clean water for granted and aren't truly grateful for the abundance of fresh and pure water readily and easily available. I believe this is a fantastic charity as it has a completely different approach. You can read more about this here

Inspiration struck me one day when I was contemplating the amount people are willing to pay to eat good, home made cake.Then I thought about how amazing it would be to have some sort of cake auction to raise money for charity! I then knew that I could use my experience and skills to make this happen and help to give money to those who need it.
