running4renewables aims to help install renewable energy technologies in underdeveloped regions throughout the world 

 

Members and supporters of the renewable energy industry will participate in various endurance events throughout the UK to raise the necessary funds for a variety of innovative schemes.  Participation will promote the concepts of energy efficiency, environmental ethics and sustainability that we as an industry hold so dear and adhere to in our everyday activities

 

 The action we take today will determine future development in energy poor communities throughout the world

 

I have comitted to the Mighty Deerstalker 10k, Chris Hoy Half Marathon and the Edinburgh Marathon on the 23rd of May to help raise the running4renewables fundraising target of £35,000. This money will be donated to the Koru Foundation,  more specifically to the Sierra Leone Village Solar Electrification Project and the Mozambique Micro-Hydro Project.
