Our mission is to make the discoveries that defeat cancer. Our vision is that people can live their lives free of cancer as a life-threatening disease. We work on all cancer types incl. children's cancers, pancreatic, brain and lung cancer. Please support our work and help us defeat cancer.

Story

Yes I made it! I can't quite believe it. It was a great six days hiking and a very tough final ascent (8 hours up, 4 down starting at 11pm).

A big thank you to everyone who donated or those who are planning to.

Most of you would know that my mum died of cancer and while she had a short fight, she non the less had a fight because of the developments in modern medicines. It is wonderful to be able to help in the development of new treatments so that others won't face the same fate.

The Institute of Cancer Research is one of the top four cancer research organisations in the world. It is struggling with cash having had its Government funding cut, so to help it to keep making amazing discoveries, such as developing possibly the world's first treatment for pancreatic cancer (which may also treat lung and bowel cancer), amazing work into inherited breast and ovarian cancer, almost to market breakthrough prostate cancer drug abiraterone, and much more - please give generously.
