Story

I am competing for the Miss Teen Great Britain title  2016. I enter pageants simply to develop myself as a person and to build up my self esteem. Competing in pageants is a big thing for me as it makes me feel good about myself and makes me feel worth it. It improves my well being and promotes a healthy attitude. Being part of the pageant industry brings out the best in me. As soon as I set foot on that stage, I feel nothing but happiness and feel so proud to be involved in such a life changing event. But competing in pageants isn't all about the pretty dress, sash or crown. Its also about reaching out to people/companies that are in need of help and I am determined to reach my goal. After being given my title Miss Teen Carrickfergus this month, I hope to raise over £200 for the charity Together for short lives-which is very close to me. And also the charity Tiny life. Receiving messages from the public and charities themselves thanking me for the work that I am doing, is such an inspiration to me and reminds me why I do what I do. I want to motivate myself and others more to make such a difference for a good cause. Since competing in this pageant, I want to leave my mark on society and would like to thank everyone that donates to this amazing charity!
