I started running again (not that I really had before) in May 2013 with my mate Paul, he told me that he had started running as his boss Barry had asked him to run the Greater Manchester Marathon as part of Barry's Project 150 (www.facebook.com/BarrysProject150).

I kept putting off the inevitable but finally gave in to Paul's constant pressure this week, no going back now!

The aim of Barry's Project 150 is to raise £150k in aid of The Christie building a new high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) room, as part of the Young Oncology Unit.

The final fundraiser is for Barry to get 150 people to each raise £150 by running the Greater Manchester Marathon.
