Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I will be plunging out of a plane at 10,000 feet. Why am I doing this? To raise money for a charity which really deserves your support. http://alzheimers.org.uk/site/index.php Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading care and research charity for people with dementia and those who care for them. Dementia is a condition involving symptoms such as: Loss of memory (forgetting names, places or how to get home), mood changes and communication problems. At present there are over 820,000 people living with dementia in the U.K with numbers set to rise to 1 MILLION by 2015!! Most people attribute this condition to older populations, but Dementia and Alzheimer’s can affect anyone, old and young. There are 15,000 people under the age of 60 with dementia- some only in their 20's and 30's. Inspired by the case of Mark Priddy, 36 http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/8509839.stm I hope to raise as much money as possible for this charity. At present, there is NO CURE for this disease. Your donations will enable research into the causes, treatment and prevention of Dementia and Alzheimer’s. Donations will also provide practical support for people living with this condition and their carerers. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity. So please dig deep and donate now- (Please don't forget!)
