Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The team at Krome have undertaken the challenge of completing a triathlon.  Well; a relay triathlon.  Still no mean feat considering half of us struggle to walk to the pub and pick up a pint (vino) without kicking up a sweat.  In the pond we have Lee 'lean like a whippet' Collas and George 'love rug' Kenny, on the track we have Simeon 'show me the money' Taylor and Wayne 'make mine a double' Trunchion.  On the penny farthings will be Mark 'standing on the shoulders of giants' Stephens and myself (providing I can find a cycle helmet that matches my bike, and doesn't make me look like a complete tool by then)...

We are raising money for Royal Brompton and Harefield charitable fund.  The guys have very kindly agreed to support and raise money for the intenstive care unit at Royal Brompton, in memory of my lovely friend Michelle who was cared for there at the end of last year, and my Aunt who was also a patient at this hospital over a number of years.  We hope to raise as much money as possible to contribute to the specialist equipment needed to help with the research, diagnosis and treatment of patients suffering with heart and lung problems.

Thank you again for taking the time to visit our page, for your support of the Royal Brompton and Harefield charitable fund, and anything that you can afford to give, it is much appreciated, and will make it all worth it when we are half way round the track, wondering what on earth we think we are playing at, and why we let George rope us in to participating in the first place...

The beers are on Sim after the event, so if you fancy joining us on the day to cheer / laugh / grimmace as I fall off my bike and skid half a mile along the track on my butt, while watching Mark beat me to the line in a blaze of glory - feel free.

Thanks again everyone.
